Things I’ve worked on
- Witron — a distribution centre logistics job, visualised.
- Weather text generation — turning weather data into an SMS-length forecast under a hard character budget.
- NMR spectrometer temperature drift — my MChem project, on how randomising experiment order turns a coherent measurement artefact back into noise.
- Ozone layer & the Montreal Protocol — my third-year project, on a chlorine radical’s catalytic cycle and the policy that reined it in.
Things I like
- Dungeon crawler demo — a short grid-based first-person dungeon crawler in the style of Dungeon Master / Eye of the Beholder, built with a coding agent just to see if it could be done.
- Test cricket — why five days of apparent nothing is actually a game with momentum swinging session by session.
- Tour de France — three weeks, several races at once: how the overall gap actually moves stage by stage.
